Banks

All major banks have their branches around the hospital campus in walking distance.

Transportation

AMC is well connected with public transport facility operated by The Chennai Metropolitan Transport Corporation. This hospital is well connected to all major locations in the city.

Visiting Hours

The common visiting time of the hospital is from 4PM to 8PM. Please adhere to the instructions given by the Ward department sisters regarding visiting times.

Safety Precautions

Follow the instructions given by our staff.

Call for assistance if you need anything.

Take only those medications given to you by the nurse and take them promptly when served.

Do not try to remove or adjust any devices around or on you without seeking approval from the nurse.

Toilets

Toilets are located in waiting room area in Outpatients department.

Lifts

Lifts are available for the Patients all the time. Attenders to use staircase unless there is a need to make use of the Lifts.

Smoking

AMC is committed to a non-smoking policy. Patients, staff and visitors are not permitted to smoke in the Hospital premises.

Hospital Environment

The Ward Environment in this Hospital usually the intern and co-assistants of the consultants, will visit you daily or more frequently if required. The intern and the registrars are involved with the majority of your medical care. The Consultant Specialist will visit at different times during the day. Remember, if you have any questions; please do not hesitate to ask the nursing staff. If you have any concerns regarding the care you are receiving, please feel free to speak to the Department Sisters. She is responsible for all nursing staff on the ward and consults regularly with Doctors in relation to your care. If you have any specific questions, the Department Sisters can assist in organising the appropriate person to assist you.
